What is the difference between front end and back end?

Front end
Front-end refers to the front side of a website or application. These are all the elements visible to the user. Before a website or application can be built, a design is first created. This design is then converted into a visually appealing website using various programming languages.
Back end
The back-end, which stands for the "back side," is responsible for processing and storing data in a database. It ensures that the website is up-to-date and that all processes run smoothly. The back-end also takes care of the security of the website or application.
